Take a Tour of our Facility.Tours of our 7,200+ sq foot building are available between the hours of 10:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday-Saturday. No appointment necessary but we ask that you do not bring your fur-kids unless they are staying for an evaluation.

Port Rover is Portsmouth, Virginia's one stop shop for EXCELLENCE in Doggy Daycare, Overnight Boarding (Dogs and Cats), Special Needs/Medical Boarding, Full Service Grooming, and Training.
Our dedicated and experienced staff are onsite 24 hours* a day to make sure your fur-kids are happy and safe. Within our facility we have 3 separate play-areas to accommodate guests of all sizes and energy levels. Outside, behind our building we have an extremely large grassy area that we use to walk our overnight guests and provide some fresh air and one on one time with our staff. At night, our overnight guests will experience some soft music, low lighting and a cozy cot with blankets while they drift off to sleep. For our guests that are not required to be kenneled, they are invited to sleep on their own cot in the open play yards with all their new friends they made throughout the day. ** During low-attendance evenings/nights, Port Rover may opt to close the facility for a period of 5-6 hours to allow our staff to spend time with their family. All boarding guests will be safely kenneled during this time
