Our experienced staff at Port Rover is able to assist with caring for dogs with special needs (Medical/Physical Disabilities). 
In some cases, written approval for overnight boarding signed by veterinarian is required.  Special Needs Boarders are accepted on a case by case basis and only as space is available.   Port Rover has a dedicated area for Special Needs boarders and unless otherwise requested, they will not interact with other daycare of general boarding dogs.  If your dog is not able to receive vaccinations, titer tests or a letter from your veterinarian may be acceptable.  

$50 per night 
​(includes medication administration up to 3 times per day)

A full size refrigerator is onsite to accommodate foods and medicine that require refrigeration.  If special treats are required in order to administer pills, we ask that the owner to please provide them. Peanut Butter and cheese slices are always on hand. ​

We are NOT able to do the following:
Physical/ Massage Therapy.
Acupuncture
Cooking of special foods
Caring for extremely sick/ hospice .
Caring for dogs with contagious or viral conditions.
