HOURS OF OPERATION (DAY SCHOOL)
Monday-Friday Day School is open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm
Saturday Fun Days are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday- Friday the Front doors are locked between 10am and 3pm.
Between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm we do NOT allow daycare dogs to be dropped off or picked up (with the exception of emergencies). Dropping dogs off between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm disrupts the focus of group learning sessions.
If doors are locked, please TEXT or use the RING located at the front of the Main Bldg.
RESERVATIONS
Effective January 01, 2024 reservations are now required for Day School. Reservations can be made in advance through our Customer Portal or via text messaging. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance in order to avoid charges.
Reservations will allow us to ability to set up well-balanced, safe & happy play groups in advance.
CUSTOMER PORTAL/ ACCOUNT ACCESS
The Customer Portal (provided through Gingr) can be utilized to register your pet, add additional pets, upload / update vaccination records, view report cards, view invoices, update contact information, make/edit reservations, make grooming appointments and more. To access the Customer Portal, please click here. "Gingr for Pet Parents" App can also be downloaded on any apple or android mobile device. Access Code 966849
DAY SCHOOL MEET AND GREET/ EVALUATION
A meet and greet for Day School dogs is required. This entire process typically takes approx. 4 hours. Parents are asked to drop off their dog(s) between 6:00 am -10:00 am Mon-Friday or between 8:00 am and 10:00 am on Saturdays. Reservations are required. The Meet and Greet process provides an opportunity for dogs and their owners to familiarize themselves with our daycare facility and staff. During this session, we aim to create a positive and comfortable environment for both dogs and their owners. Our trained staff will introduce themselves to the dogs and engage in friendly interactions. We will assess the temperament and behavior of each dog and make slow introductions to other dogs throughout the day. Puppies under 6 months old do not require a Meet and Greet.

DISMISSAL FROM DAY SCHOOL
If at any time your dog displays or develops unacceptable behavior such as, but not limited to; fighting with other dogs, bullying, resource guarding, excessive barking, excessive humping, destructive behavior or aggression towards our staff, he/she may be immediately dismissed from daycare. We will keep parents informed of all incidents big or small. If we notice dogs are starting to develop bad behaviors we will have our in-house trainers re-evaluate your dog and possibly recommend training and/or dismissal from daycare. Port Rover also reserves the rights to dismiss any dog based on ill behavior from the owner/parents. We do not allow bullying, intimidation, violence or abuse from our clients.
MEALS AND TREATS
Meals are not served in Day School except when provided by the owner for medical reasons. Lunches for puppies under 1 year old are also acceptable. Lunches are administered between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm daily. Please bring lunch in a single use sandwich baggie. Breakfast and Dinner should be fed at home. Please feed your dog(s) at least 1 hour prior to arrival for daycare to ensure they properly digest their breakfast and are ready to play. If you are unable to please let the staff know so we can allow for proper rest prior to play. Treats are given to dogs throughout the day to encourage good behavior as well as during special events. If your dog has any food allergies please inform the staff ahead of time.
LATE PICK UP FEES
Daycare All daycare dogs must be picked up by 7:00 pm Monday-Friday and by 4:00 pm on Saturday. Please notify us via phone call or text if you are running late. We allow a 10 minute grace period before we charge a $18 late fee. If we do not hear from you or if you are more than 10 minutes late, your dog will be checked into boarding and provided house food for dinner. Original Daycare Charges, Overnight Boarding and Food charges will apply.
CUSTOMER CARE
Our number one priority is to provide a safe, happy and healthy environment for your dog(s). We expect our staff to be kind and courteous to each customer. In return, we request that customers treat our staff with kindness and understanding. Foul language, screaming or derogatory comments will not be tolerated and you will be asked to not return. If for whatever reason you are not satisfied and a staff member is not able to address your concerns, please make sure to reach out to a manager as soon as possible. We do our best to provide updates, send pictures via text, post pictures on social media and provide feedback concerning your pet as often as we can. We ask that customers keep in mind that we care for many, many dogs throughout the day and we may not be able to provide updates for everyone, every day but this does not mean your dog is not be cared for properly.
DIRTY DOGS
Throughout the day, your dog may participate in a variety of activities including Pool time, small group play, large group play and special events. Although we do our best to keep them clean, at times it is unavoidable due to grass, dirt, mulch, and other natural elements. We offer low cost Exit Baths upon request.

VACCINE REQUIREMENTS
- Rabies Vaccination
- Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (DAPP/ DHLPP / DHPP)
- Bordetella Vaccinations (Canine/Kennel Cough)
- Influenza (Highly Recommended but not required at this time. Consult with your vet.)
- Canines under the age of one year old are required to have documentation of all 3 rounds of DAPP Vaccines.
- We do not accept vaccines administered at home.
- Vaccination records must include dogs name as well as veterinarians name.
- For vaccines administered by Rescue Group/shelter, tags from vaccines and dates administered must be presented and we will request owner to sign a waiver.
- Titer tests are accepted if completed by a vet within the last 3 months.
SPAY AND NEUTER POLICY
- All Puppies/Dogs over 6 months old must be spayed/neutered.
- Any negative behavior as a result of unaltered dogs will result in dismissal from day school.
- Females in heat will not be allowed under any circumstances. This is strictly for the safety of all guests.
- Spay and Neuter is NOT required for dogs that are staying for Overnight Boarding, Adventure Club, Grooming or Obedience Training.
MEMBERSHIPS/ATTENDANCE
- Approved Day School students must attend daycare a minimum of 4 times per month
- Day School Memberships/ Packages must be purchased each month.
- Day School Memberships are non-refundable unless authorized by management.
- Auto-renewal of Membership packages processed monthly.
- 3 Days advanced notice is required in order to change or cancel upcoming Auto-Renewal of packages.
- Left-over days do not roll over to the following month.
- If additional days are required throughout the month, "Ala-Cart" days can be added at the daily rate for the original package purchased for that month.
- The Top Dog Unlimited Membership and the Unlimited + Training Membership can be split into two separate payments (50% due on the first day of Day School / 2nd half auto drafted 2 weeks later)
