An evaluation may be performed for unaltered dogs over the age of 7 months. If he/she passes but then later shows signs of aggression or dominance, he/she may no longer be able to participate in group playtime. Females in heat will not be allowed under any circumstances. This is strictly for the safety of all Port Rover dogs. Spay and Neuter is NOT required for boarding only dogs, grooming dogs or dogs in training.
Unacceptable Behavior: If at any time your dog displays or develops unacceptable behavior such as, but not limited to; fighting with other dogs, bullying, resource guarding, excessive barking, excessive humping, destructive behavior or aggression towards our staff, he/she may be immediately dismissed from daycare. We will keep parents informed of all incidents big or small. If we notice dogs are starting to develop bad behaviors we will have our in-house trainers re-evaluate your dog and possibly recommend training and/or dismissal from daycare. Alternate options may be the Learn and Burn program.
