Spay and Neuter Policy:
We recognize the importance of spaying/neutering and while we encourage owners to alter their pets, we realize there are instances where spay/neuter surgery is not a viable option or the owner chooses not to. An evaluation may be performed for unaltered dogs over the age of 7 months. If he/she passes but then later shows signs of aggression or dominance, he/she may no longer be able to participate in group playtime. Females in heat will not be allowed under any circumstances. This is strictly for the safety of all Port Rover dogs. Spay and Neuter is NOT required for boarding only dogs, grooming dogs or dogs in training.
Unacceptable Behavior: If at any time your dog displays or develops unacceptable behavior such as, but not limited to; extreme kennel aggression, resource guarding, destructive behavior or aggression towards our staff, he/she may be immediately dismissed from Boarding. We will keep parents informed of all incidents big or small.
Customer Care: Our number one priority is to provide a safe, happy and healthy environment for your dog(s). We expect our staff to be kind and courteous to each customer. In return, we request that customers treat our staff with kindness and understanding. Foul language, screaming or derogatory comments will not be tolerated and you will be asked to not return. If for whatever reason you are not satisfied and a staff member is not able to address your concerns, please make sure to reach out to a manager as soon as possible.
We do our best to provide updates, send pictures via text, post pictures on social media and provide feedback concerning your pet as often as we can. We ask that customers keep in mind that we care for many, many dogs throughout the day and we may not be able to provide updates for everyone but this does not mean your dog is not be cared for properly.
