DAY TRAINING (SOCIAL DOG 101)
PLAY AND TRAIN classes are conducted during daycare hours (Mon, Tue, Thur and Friday)
10- Day Course (1-2 Hours per day / one-on-one with Trainer and Port Rover Staff).
While dog is not in training, he/she can participate in group play daycare (if dog-friendly).
On designated days, trainer will stay for pickups and teach parents commands and lessons learned for the day/week.
Day training homework (how to) sheets will be provided as well.
Drop off between 6:00 am and 10:00 am
Pick up between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm
Class Objectives:
Commands include Positive Reward Markers, Release Cue, Sit (and hold), Down (and hold), Recall, Focus, Place, Touch, Leave It, and Off. Training may vary based on dogs ability to learn, focus etc. Adjustments may be required.
Dog Requirements: Dog must be over 6 months of age and non-people aggressive. Must have proper vaccinations including Rabies and DHLPP. A Meet and Greet may be required prior to signing up (at trainers discretion). Space is not reserved until payment is made in full.
$420 for Half Day Training (6 Hours)
$550 for Extended Hours/ Full Day
Evaluation / Meet and Greet Required ($20 one time fee)
